Although in operation for quite some time as a communication technology, arguably, the Internet became widely and commercially available from 16 August 1995 (the launch of Internet Explorer as part of the Microsoft software suite – see Wikipedia). With that potentially liberating moment, 21 years ago, the technology channels began to move towards how Virtual Assistants can operate today.
