Following on from the VA Breakfast Expert Panel debate around #SocialMediaVA – the value or not of social media for promoting a VA business, our theme for #VACon 20 is “Marketing 4 Sales”.
Far too often we all see good Virtual Assistants struggling to find new clients or going out of business because they can not build consistent revenue streams. ‘Feast or famine’ syndrome to describe the flow of business/revenues for small business owners is something that many SMEs struggle with and sadly, some do not survive.
To help the VA community, our spekears today will focus on elements that are core to helping any Virtual Assistant business progress and build effective marketing activities and improve revenue income.

Networking and Public Speaking are powerful tools that go hand in hand, and when used effectively can have a huge impact as a marketing activity to attract more clients.
Jenna is a serial networker and ex-broadcaster, with over 10 years experience as a public speaker in a variety of roles. Jenna will provide you with tips for making the most of opportunities to speak up, attract clients and make more impact in front of others.

Session Two 11:15am: #MyBrandVA – Brand or Bland – How important is your VA business name?
The panel will discuss and explore the pros and cons of business names, brands, logos etc., covering key elements of VA branding and naming issues.
The session will also cover opinions on Self Employed or Limited Company options, franchise relationships, Trademarks, Copyright, and their experiences of managing Intellectual Property in a VA business.

Suzanne is also a respected author and she will share her latest updates on the progress of GDPR – an essential topic that the VA Professional needs to do their best to fully understand.
