Midlands England VA of the Year 2018
Birmingham and the home of Aston Villa Football Club, Villa Park, was the venue and The Midlands Business Network Expo were our fabulous hosts for the Regional Final of the Midlands VA of the Year 2018.

Elizabeth Wright, based in Northamptonshire, started out in business as a sole trader in June 2016. Elizabeth has a background of 28 years in office and business administration and also has experience as a Trustee and Community Fundraiser. Notably a full member of the Institute of Fundraising, and with an increasing team of associates, Elizabeth can provide valuable support to a range of both business organisations and charities.
Elizabeth displays great skills on social media and video, and despite her extensive experience and existing qualifications Elizabeth is still committed to her professional development completing 40 hours CPD and already looking ahead to next year
Suzy Sanders started her business in October 2016 and has very recently rebranded to trading as Alchemy Virtual Assistance, based in Northamptonshire.
With six years as an Executive Assistant for a major global recruitment firm Suzy had developed a working pattern of supporting a much travelled Global Executive which provided an introduction to supporting her colleague remotely.
Suzy’s services and skill-set gives her a strong social media presence and has received some very impressive reviews, with a good spread of services. The judges noted that Suzy had undertaken a significant amount of CPD and invested in engaging a mentor.
