UK VA Awards have great pleasure in announcing that they have three multi-award winning Virtual Assistant and an innovative business leader joining the Panel of Judges for 2020-2021 UK VA Award program as they continue to expand the reach and progress the recognition of the UK VA Awards.
The three new judges are:
Jane Cattermole – Multi-award winning VA, England VA of the Year 2014
Jane worked as a PA to senior management for 20 years before setting up the remote working executive assistant and bookkeeping company Bay Tree VA in 2008. Since that time it has gone on to become a leading and established multi-VA, award-winning business.
Jane is a previous winner of the UK VA award ‘VA of the Year for England’ and Bay Tree VA has also been listed as one of the East Anglian Daily Times’ Future 50, highlighting companies showing exceptional potential for growth.
Bay Tree VA partners with business owners, senior management and project teams matching them with skilled Bay Tree VAs from its team to provide flexible, time-saving assistance.
Jane is keen to help growing businesses succeed, not only through the service Bay Tree VA provides, but also as Vice Chairman of Menta – the Suffolk Enterprise Agency..
Joanne Manville – Multi-award winning VA, and twice winner of Outstanding VA of the Year (2019 & 2020).
Having worked for over 10 years as an Executive PA in both public and private companies, Joanne decided that she wanted a greater challenge and started her business in 2015.
Four years on, Joanne has a team of seven associates and has won several awards included South West VA of the Year in 2017 and 2018, England VA of the Year and more recently UK Outstanding VA 2019.
Joanne says “Starting my own business, doing what I love, is the best decision I have made. The past four years have been fantastic: growing the team, working with some amazing clients, getting married and having our (now 3-year-old) daughter; the time has gone so quickly but I have loved every moment.”
Richard Collins- Entrepreneur and founder of CSR-Accreditation
As an experienced brand strategist and creative Richard has pursued his passion for helping companies in both the public and private sector promote their ethical behaviour to create differentiation and improved audience engagement. Starting out as an in-house graphic designer at BP, Richard went on to work for several design and marketing agencies.
Subsequently he co-founded Milestone Design Ltd in 1995 building a highly creative agency with a strong strategic edge. During this time he also became a director with the Green Organisation who run the Green Apple Awards, which recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world. In 2011
Richard moved on to set up Ecobrand a full service creative agency specialising in brand communication and brand language. Ecobrand helps organisations promote their CSR and sustainability efforts as an integral part of their brand personality. To compliment this Ecobrand also run the International CSR awards.
