The IAM calls to open the conversation about professional recognition for administrative staff amongst employers in their latest campaign –
“What People Are Saying About Administrators”.
29th June 2018.
There is no such thing as the typical administrator and with companies increasingly seeking professionals who fit more specifically with their corporate culture and operations, the number of job titles continues to grow as well as the responsibilities for like-for-like job titles being different and diverse.
This trend contributes to the lack of understanding amongst colleagues over both the day-to-day role of an administrative professional and the larger impact that they have on an organization. As a result, administrative professionals are often the under-represented workforce.
The IAM’s latest campaign “what people are saying about administrators” launches on the 9th July, which seeks to candidly open up the conversation about what people perceive the administrative professional as and the value that they bring to an organization. Throughout the week (9th-15th) there will be first-hand commentary from the IAM, its members and industry leaders and want to invite people to join in with the conversation on social media, to rally support for #AdminAwareness amongst professionals in the workplace.
