1989 was the year the Berlin Wall fell, the first GPS satellites were launched, Sir Tim Berners-Lee invented the worldwide web, Daniel Radcliffe and Taylor Swift were born, and Mesmo Consultancy was established!
Email had been invented by Ray Tomlinson – although like the worldwide web, it was just a dot on the horizon kept there by the lack of user-friendly hardware.
