Bosses believe workers do less from home

Microsoft have recently conducted a survey that concludes that Bosses believe that workers do less from home?

The survey has questioned more than 20,000 staff across 11 countries.

While 87 per cent of employees in the UK said that they were productive when they worked remotely, this was at odds with the 80 per cent of managers who said it was “challenging” to believe that they really were productive, a situation that Microsoft dubbed “productivity paranoia”!

The number of fully-remote jobs advertised on LinkedIn soared during the pandemic but data suggested that type of role might have peaked.

With some 14 or 15 million job listings that are typically live on LinkedIn, about 2% of those involved remote working before the pandemic.

Some months ago, that stood at 20%, and it has since come down to 15% this month.
