ADVANCE INFORMATION: Opportunity Bakes!
For those of you that were at Lucy Brazier’s session, you will know that Lucy is a powerful proponent of the PA industry, worldwide. Along with Anel Martin and Terri Wells, both well-respected global PA trainer and native South Africans, as well as a suite of mentors and supporters, Lucy has been instrumental in setting up the ISIPHO admin bursary. The bursary currently supports three ladies in South Africa in achieving their goal of becoming qualified administrative professionals. More information can be found here: http://www.isiphoadmin.org.za/
For our October event, we would like to invite you to help in one of two ways (or both ways!). We will be hosting a bake sale, with both homemade and shop-bought cakes and biscuits. Please bring along your small change if you would like to contribute, but there is no obligation. The second way in which we would like to invite you to help is by bringing along your unwanted but unused stationery. We all have things that we grab at trade shows, or get in goody bags, or have from freebies from promotional companies, that languish in our drawers. The ISIPHO ladies need, for example, stationery, clothes for interviews and bags (laptop, rucksack). A full list can be found here: http://www.isiphoadmin.org.za/wishlist.html. Again, there is no obligation, but anything, from pens, to post it notes, to old laptop bags, to…well, anything will be gratefully received! We will have a donation point at the event, but please get in touch if you would like to donate beforehand.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
